Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Assistant to join our team in Englewood, NJ. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the logistics industry and contribute to the success of a growing company. The Sales Assistant will provide support to the sales team and assist with various administrative tasks. This position is non-exempt with the possibility of transitioning to an Outside Sales role in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
• Assist with sales operations, such as processing orders, generating invoices, and tracking shipments.
• Maintain customer records and update databases.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Conduct market research and gather industry information.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a sales role is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Japanese language skills are required.
