We are open from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PAY RATE: $21.00 Key Responsibilities: - Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Sweep, dust and mop.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Shrink Wrap products, assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
Skills & Experience: - 1-2 years of previous warehouse order picking experience.
- Need most experience on the reach truck and Cherry (order) Picker; since they are used 80% of the time...with 10% on each of the other equipment.
- Comfortable with all facets of warehouse work.
- At least 1 year of experience on the following equipment: Cherry (order) Picker, Reach Truck, Sit down Fork Lift and Stand on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).
Education: Equipment Used: - Cherry Picker, Sit down Forklift, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet jack.
- Reach Truck is preferred but forklift is required and a must.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift, push and move up to 50lbs
Qualities Preferred: - Experience with Unloading trucks and Order Picking.
- Mandatory OT as needed to complete the days orders.
