Job Details

• Mental Health Coordinator position responsible for planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities for individuals in caseload.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmates' needs.

Job Requirements

• Five (5) years of clinical experience including two (2) years in a comparable job position.
