Job Title : Finance Internship
Duration: June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025 (8-weeks)
Hours: 30-40 hours
Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic, focused and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support the finance department. The intern will have daily interaction with finance and accounting professionals and gain valuable experience in all aspects of an in-house finance department including financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting. The intern may also assist with other ad-hoc departmental projects. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in learning new skills and developing a background in the healthcare / technology industry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: ? Assist with financial data analysis, including reviewing financial reports and identifying trends.
? Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
? Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
? Help with accounts payable/receivable, including data entry and reconciliation.
? Assist in maintaining financial records, preparing spreadsheets, and updating financial databases.
? Participate in financial planning meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
? Perform other ad-hoc finance-related tasks and projects as assigned by senior finance team members.
Requirements & Minimum Skills: ? Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Able to meet deadlines and timeframes
Schedule: Will be determined based on Intern's schedule and departmental needs.
