Job Title: Scrum Master
Contract: 24 Months
On Site Work
Location: Chandler, AZ

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our Agile transformation team, helping us foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by guiding teams and stakeholders in Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Scrum Master who is passionate about Agile methodologies and can lead multiple cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams to improve efficiency, and working closely with product owners and leadership to ensure the successful execution of initiatives. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to guide the organization through Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Coach Teams: Mentor and support Agile teams in the adoption and execution of Scrum practices, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
• Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and remove blockers to team progress and drive resolution.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team reflection and feedback, and help implement process improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and priorities, and provide regular status updates on team progress.
• Agile Advocacy: Champion the Scrum framework within the organization, helping to expand Agile adoption and improving organizational agility.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track team metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) and provide insights to leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
• Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator when needed, helping to resolve team conflicts in a constructive manner.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2+ years in a Senior Scrum Master or similar leadership role.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (A-CSM) certification required; SAFe, LeSS, or other Agile certifications a plus.
• Proven experience leading and coaching multiple Agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with a track record of driving team performance and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and project success.
• A passion for helping teams deliver high-quality software and products with agility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Spotify model).
• Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
• Experience working in [industry specific, e.g., fintech, healthcare, etc.] is a plus.
