Job Description: Full-service sanitation employee that specializes in performing contract sanitation services at large food manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities would include using wet and dry-cleaning methods to clean production lines, shipping, warehouse, production/packaging and other areas of the facility including, but not limited to, manufacturing equipment, offices, break room, and bathrooms. Positions offer a benefit package including but not limited to; medical, dental, vision, 401K, employee stock option program, paid holidays, and vacation. Essential Functions:
· Perform all tasks assigned by Manager, based on Barilla’s Cleaning Plan.
· Follows ALL food safety and OSHA safety guidelines.
· Clean and sanitize production processing equipment and common areas.
· Sweeps, mops, and maintains the offices, restrooms, and lunchroom.
· Pick up debris and trash along the perimeter fencing and outside grounds.
· Familiar with the use of appropriate cleaners and sanitizers for all food processing equipment and plant facilities.
· Report all equipment problems to leadership or supervisor immediately.
· Plans and carries out job assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
· Must be able to work in non-permit required confined spaces.
· Must be able to work in humid and hot areas.
· Must be able to work at all heights within the facility.
· Willing to learn and work industrial equipment like a scissor lift, boom lift and floor scrubber.
· Must be able to come to work on time, ready to work, and work entire scheduled hours each day.
Requirements
· Prior sanitation or related experience a plus but not required, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
· Must be able to read, write and speak English.
· Must be able to work assigned schedule.
· Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
· Ability to follow instructions and comprehend safety procedures.
· Must be able to follow all facility GMP’s, policies, and procedures.
· Must be able to lift 35 lbs. up to waist level.
· Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
· Must be able to distinguish colors and smells.
· Must be able to distinguish audible alarms.
· Must be capable of rapid movement to all areas of the plant.
· Must be able to climb stairs and fixed/portable ladders.
· Ability to crawl into, under and onto machinery and equipment.
Allergens present in the facility = Wheat, Rhizopus stolonifera (Bread mold)
$20.56 for night shift. Sunday thru Thursday 10pm to 6:30am
$19.56 For the Dayshift
