Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Python- AWS developer for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA (Hybrid) . The role involves designing enterprise solutions using Python and AWS, developing scalable web applications, and implementing industry-standard API security protocols.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Python- AWS developer job responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing enterprise solutions using Python and AWS technologies, focusing on serverless architecture such as Lambda, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
Developing highly scalable web applications and RESTful APIs leveraging microservices.
Utilizing AWS libraries (boto3, AWS Powertools) for interacting with S3, SNS, SQS, and other AWS services.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
Ensuring code quality and test coverage with tools like pytest and supporting unit testing and performance testing.
Communicating effectively with clients and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Implementing API security protocols such as OAuth to ensure secure interactions.
Collaborating with DevOps teams for seamless integration and deployment processes.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python and AWS technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EC2, and S3.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, RESTful API development, and security protocols such as OAuth.
