Job Description
Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 3rd Shift. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The rate for this position is $19.66 per hour plus $.50 per hour shift differential. New third shift employees will train during first shift hours for appoximately four weeks. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and as market and business considerations.
What you'll do: A production worker is expected to work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout - doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding; however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily.
- Packaging and assembly work
- Setup pieces according to the shop order
- Stack and band parts
- Clean and help set up the work area
- Make barcodes and label products
- Cutting material on a band saw
- Material Handling
Position Criteria: - You will occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights, but never crawl.
- You will frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, and frequently push and pull.
- You will frequently carry 10-34 pounds and often 35-50 pounds with or without accommodation, and you will carry 51-100 pounds occasionally with a team lift.
Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications - 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency with tape measuring equipment
