Position Overview:

Vintage Realty is offering a Summer 2025 Accounting Internship for a driven and detail-oriented student who is eager to gain practical experience in a professional finance environment. The intern will assist in the migration of five years of financial data as part of a company-wide accounting software upgrade. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with both accounting and technology professionals, building valuable skills in financial systems, data integrity, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the extraction, cleanup, and formatting of historical accounting records.

• Help reconcile and validate data to ensure accuracy prior to migration.

• Work alongside the Accounting and IT teams to support the transition to the new platform.

• Document procedures and help create checklists for consistent data handling and tracking.

• Participate in system testing and provide feedback to ensure accurate data transfer.

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; prior experience with accounting software is a plus.

• Able to manage time effectively, work independently, and collaborate with a team.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
