Job Description: We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team, specializing in representing crew members and passengers who have sustained injuries or illnesses while on cruise ships. As a Personal Injury Attorney focusing on cruise ship injuries, you will be responsible for advocating on behalf of individuals who have suffered harm during their voyage, ensuring that they receive fair compensation and justice for their losses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Representation: Provide legal counsel and representation to passengers and crew members who have sustained injuries or illnesses while on cruise ships, including but not limited to slip and falls, medical negligence, accidents, and onboard illnesses.
2. Case Management: Oversee a caseload of cruise ship injury cases from initial client consultation through case resolution. This includes legal research, document preparation, and court appearances when necessary.
3. Client Advocacy: Maintain regular and transparent communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases, explaining their legal options, and addressing their concerns.
4. Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with cruise lines, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to secure just and equitable settlements for your clients.
5. Litigation: Prepare and litigate cases in court, presenting compelling arguments and representing plaintiffs during trial proceedings.
6. Legal Research: Stay updated on maritime and cruise ship laws, regulations, and relevant legal precedents to build strong legal strategies.
7. Documentation: Maintain well-organized case files, including medical records, incident reports, and evidence specific to cruise ship injuries.
8. Compliance: Ensure all legal activities adhere to ethical and professional standards, as well as relevant maritime and personal injury laws.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active state bar membership.
• Proven experience in personal injury law, with a focus on representing plaintiffs in cruise ship injury cases.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills, with a solid understanding of maritime and cruise ship regulations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
