Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will assist individuals and businesses in securing loans for various purposes, including home mortgages, personal loans, and commercial financing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in loan origination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to assess their financial needs and determine appropriate loan products.
• Evaluate loan applications, credit reports, and financial documents to determine loan eligibility.
• Guide clients through the loan process, from application to approval and closing, ensuring clear communication at every stage.
• Provide clients with information on loan terms, interest rates, and repayment options, and answer any questions regarding the loan process.
• Review and analyze financial data to make informed lending decisions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and timely approvals.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and changes in financial products to provide clients with the most accurate and up-to-date advice.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company-specific lending regulations and policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in loan origination or a related financial services role.
• Licenses/Certifications: State-specific loan officer license & DRE and NMLS licenses required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of loan products and financial services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial assessments.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and underwriting processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively explain complex financial information.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
