This position is on a future contract pending award announcement. This position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance. Own the cloud strategy for one of the most critical USAF platforms at Leidos. As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you'll drive cloud architecture, scalability, and security within the SABRE environment, ensuring seamless integration with DoD and coalition forces. Responsibilities Include: Provide leadership and direction in cloud platforms hosted in a FedRAMP+ environment. Manage procurement and deployment of cloud infrastructure and services using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Lead the technical team in implementing Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools. Oversee automated testing, cloud services, microservices, and container-based environments. Manage project risks and issues to ensure timely resolution and program stability. Ensure all security and regulatory compliance requirements are met. Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables align with Government requirements and timelines. Develop and maintain relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and vendors to enhance customer service management. Provide leadership to coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members, promoting accountability and positive action for assigned work. Clearance Required: This position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance. Required Experience, Skills, and Education: BS and 12 or more years of experience in project management. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 4+ years of experience managing cloud-based projects 4+ years of experience working within a DoD or other Federal Government environment Strong knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, cloud security models, and compliance frameworks Experience leading multiple, complex cloud-based projects across hybrid or multi-cloud environments Understanding of DoD Cloud Computing SRG, RMF, FedRAMP+, and DISA STIGs Proven ability to manage risk assessments, and cloud migration strategies Experience implementing Agile, DevSecOps , and automation methodologies.
