We are currently looking to add a dynamic Landscape Crew Leader to our passionate team of landscape professionals installing raingardens, swales, native plantings, buffers, hardscapes and performing shoreline restoration. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Job Duties

• Cultivate your green career with us!
• Be responsible and ensure landscape construction projects are installed properly and according to the plan.
• Learn the safe and proper way to work and direct a crew of up to four people
• Maintain open communication with management, suppliers and crew members
• Communicate, manage, and supervise staff and sub-contractor crews
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction or related fields
• Experience in construction plan reading
• Experience in planting plan reading and basic plant ID.
• Introduction to storm sewer systems
• Commercial Drivers License (Class A), preferred but not required
• Ability to operate various landscape equipment such as skid steer, mini excavator, laser level, etc.
• Willing to cross train with our native restoration and management crews
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height
• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books 
• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
