Position: Financial Analyst – Onsite

Location: Fort Payne, Alabama

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Financial Analyst to support the operational and strategic financial goals of our client located in Fort Payne, Alabama. This onsite role focuses on financial planning, performance monitoring, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting month-end closing activities, driving digital transformation in controlling processes, and providing insights that guide strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End Closing:
    Ensure accurate and IFRG-compliant financial records, managing all relevant closing activities.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    Conduct detailed financial analysis on trends, asset structure, liabilities, cash flow, and business KPIs. Deliver regular reports and actionable insights to management.

  • KPI Monitoring:
    Track and analyze key performance indicators (volume, profit, headcount, FCF, etc.), identify deviations, and lead corrective action efforts.

  • Performance Reviews:
    Prepare and lead monthly performance review meetings, tailoring discussions to current business needs and identifying focus topics.

  • Digital Transformation Support:
    Implement and promote digital controlling tools and practices; train employees in new front-end systems and contribute to ongoing digitalization initiatives.

  • Operational & Project Support:
    Participate in projects and operational tasks as assigned, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant financial experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Proficient in financial reporting tools; experience with digital front-end tools a plus.

  • Understanding of IFRG standards and financial controls.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead discussions with stakeholders.

  • Self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of driving initiatives independently.

  • Onsite Position – Candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to Fort Payne, Alabama.
