The Flex Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is responsible for supporting patient access and reimbursement services across an assigned territory through a combination of remote engagement and limited, case-by-case in-person interactions. This role may supportmultiple therapeutic programsand focuses on assisting healthcare providers and patients in navigating reimbursement challenges, including Benefit Investigations, Prior Authorizations, Claims Assistance, and Appeals. Operating primarily in a virtual capacity, the Flex FRM builds and maintains strong relationships with healthcare provider offices and manufacturer representatives through video conferencing, phone calls, and digital communications. When needed, the FRM may travel to support high-priority client engagements or training events. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on Medicare and commercial insurance plans and benefit structures. Conduct virtual training sessions and educational webinars for provider offices. Collaborate with internal hub support teams to resolve access and reimbursement issues. Coordinate remote meetings, virtual site visits, and digital resource sharing. Manage projects and accounts in alignment with client expectations and service level agreements. Supportmultiple client programs, adapting to varying therapeutic areas, processes, and service models. Maintain flexibility forlimited, case-by-case travelbased on specific client requests or business needs. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The Flex FRM must be adaptable, organized, and committed to delivering a high-quality customer experience across diverse healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities Virtual and On-Demand Education Educating office staff on reimbursement challenges, support services, payer processes, and patient communication. Includes CRM documentation and weekly reporting. Reimbursement Support & Account Management Hands-on support with benefit investigations, prior authorizations, claims, appeals, billing/coding, and coordination with stakeholders. Program Monitoring & Reporting Monitoring program performance, compiling educational activity data, CRM dashboard tracking, and preparing client-facing reports. Outbound Calls & Appointment Scheduling Setting up and conducting virtual meetings, outbound calls to provider offices, and occasional in-office work. Provider & Rep Database Management Researching and maintaining provider/manufacturer profiles in CRM, building and updating facility databases. Client-Requested Travel Limited, case-by-case travel for high-priority client engagements or training events. Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Minimum Job Qualifications - 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience Business Experience - Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy. Experience supporting oncology products preferred Experience in the healthcare industry including, but not limited to insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication, physician's office or clinics. Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience. Must be able to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports on a regular basis. Proven presentation skills and experience Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and excellent organizational skills Strong Computer literacy to include PowerPoint and Web Meeting experience Specialized Knowledge/Skills - Previous field experience, a plus Previous experience with specialty pharmacy a plus Account management experience, a plus Excellent Interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills Problem solving and decision-making skills Travel Requirements Must reside in Territory Geo-zone Potential for client to require travel within their zone that would be handled as a case by case basis Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record/ MVR *This position is ineligible for Fleet vehicle or Car allowance program Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) - Possible long periods of sitting and/or keyboard work. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
