We are seeking an Experienced Insulation Sprayer to apply different insulation types on a variety of buildings. The ideal candidate should posses a solid background in insulation application, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply various types of spray insulation to walls, ceilings, attics, and other surfaces in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
  • Prepare work areas by covering surfaces, sealing gaps, and ensuring proper ventilation.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure proper application and thickness of insulation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with insulation equipment or application processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and hours worked.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Insulation Sprayer, with a strong understanding of spray insulation techniques.
  • Familiarity with insulation equipment, tools, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with other types of insulation materials and methods.
  • OSHA safety training or other relevant safety certifications.

Physical Demands:

While working, the employee will use their hands and arms, stand, walk, and may need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They may also occasionally sit, climb, or balance. The job involves lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally moving objects over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
