Position Overview:
\n\nThe Electrical Supervisor works closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process from the raw material to the finished product and support daily productions activities. This is a supervisory position, which would include the daily supervision of plant electricians as well as the management of plant construction, modifications, appropriations and equipment installation.
\n\n\n\n
Duties And Responsibilities:
\n\nReporting directly to the Plant Engineer, the Electrical Supervisors responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
\n\nApplies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial plant setting
\n\tOversees assembly and testing of experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles
\n\tDiagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective action
\n\tDevelops diagrams, drawings and specifications for modifications or expansions and directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties
\n\tPlans, directs and records periodic testing; recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment as needed
\n\tDirects, coordinates, develops, trains, coaches and assesses employees
\n\tSupports and encourages employees to work safely, efficiently and effectively
\n\tPerforms other job-related duties as required or assigned
