Located in Cincinnati, OH, we are currently looking for a Controller who brings more than just numbers to the table. In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in financial management, accounting, costing, tax, budgeting, and cash flow—while playing a key role in turning financial insights into business strategy. You'll also serve as a subject matter expert on our ERP system and how it connects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting and treasury functions across four company locations, including managing two direct reports. Lead the month-end close process and ensure a strong internal control environment.
  • Banking & Debt Compliance: Manage the preparation and submission of bank collateral reports to determine loan availability and ensure monthly/quarterly compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual budget and oversee daily/weekly cash management reporting, including preparation of a rolling 13-week cash forecast.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Partner with the CFO to provide actionable business insights through financial data interpretation and KPI reporting, while serving as a strategic advisor to department leaders.
  • Capital Investment: Conduct return on investment (ROI) analyses for capital expenditures to support informed financial decisions.
  • Tax Compliance: Work closely with external tax consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits, ensuring operational and financial compliance across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ Years Accounting Management Experience
  • Advanced User of Microsoft Apps – Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Experience with AS400 or similar enterprise systems
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
