In this role, you'll play a crucial role in determining project requirements, calculating costs, and creating comprehensive proposals for commercial roofing projects. What youll do

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections, including measurements and Roofscope evaluations, to obtain precise information for accurate bidding
• Review specifications and drawings provided by general contractors, consultants, etc.
• Meet and collaborate with various stakeholders such as a roof consultant, board member, or facility manager to understand project goals and requirements
• Conduct thorough research to identify the most cost-effective and high-quality materials for the job
• Create competitive bids for commercial roofing systems
• Effectively convey the extent of work, project schedules, materials, guarantees, and pricing specifics to clients
• Stay up-to-date on the latest roofing materials, practices, techniques, and industry standards to ensure superior technical expertise
• Perform additional duties as requested by management

Who you are

• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
• Detailed oriented with the ability to interpret complex project documents
• Experience as a commercial roofing estimator or closely related field is necessary for this role
