Job Description

No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.).

This is an in-home role requiring daily local travel. Candidates must reside within our North Orange County service cities that are Tustin, Fullerton, La Habra & Placentia, and all cities in between.

We offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy for children, infants, and families. Position Overview

Compensation : $22-$27.60 /hr

Job Type : Part-Time

Work Hours

  • This is an in-home role requiring daily local travel. Candidates must reside within our North Orange County service cities that are Tustin, Fullerton, La Habra & Placentia, and all cities in between.
  • Available: 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm (Part-time); Saturdays not required but welcomed in addition to weekday availability
  • Flexible evening hours with additional earning potential.

Bonus : Spanish or Vietnamese speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Therapy: Work directly with children with autism, delivering ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • Teach Key Skills: Help children develop communication, social, self-help, and play skills using ABA principles.
  • Engage with Clients: Stay active throughout the session, engaging in play and assisting the child in achieving learning goals, which may include bending, squatting, and playing on the floor.
  • Maintain Data: Accurately record session data, track progress, and help with reporting treatment goals.
  • Ensure Safety and Confidentiality: Ensure client safety during sessions, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
  • At least 6 months of paid or volunteer experience working with children, preferably in educational or therapeutic settings (ABA experience is a plus)
  • A smartphone or similar device for capturing session data
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance (travel to clients' homes is required)
  • Ability to engage and keep up with active children while maintaining professionalism
  • Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, physical exam, and immunizations as required
