Position Summary The Network Engineer II assists with installations, maintenance, and evaluation of network systems and communications, troubleshooting issues with diverse scope. Assists with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies, requiring extensive knowledge of internet, routers, switches, firewalls, etc. Gains exposure to complex tasks within the job function. Works independently with occasional guidance in various aspects of the work. Assists with root-cause analysis or production of After Action Reviews (AAR) of IS issues as needed. Performs planned maintenance activities, including IOS updates and security patching. Monitors changes and their impact on network security, collaborating with Security Operations to ensure data protection and compliance. Participates in on-call support as needed for 24x7 critical infrastructure operations. Onsite in Greenville, NC - 3 to 4 days a week Minimum Requirements High School diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of network experience; healthcare industry experience preferred. Certifications such as Network+, CCNA (Route/Switch, Security, Wireless) are required. Other Information Onsite in Greenville, NC - 3 to 4 days a week.
