Job Title: Visual Designer

Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote)

Bill Rate: $55-60 per hour DOE

W2 contract duration: 12 months with a possible Extension

Job Summary:

A visual discovery engine for finding ideas is seeking a product designer with strong visual design skills to work on digital products. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop user-centric solutions while maintaining a high level of design execution and creativity. The designer will be responsible for elevating visual craft, collaborating with senior staff on strategic areas, and driving innovation in emerging industries.

Responsibilities:

• Design products—systematically, interactively, visually—with pixel-level precision.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
• Collaborate with and manage feedback from stakeholders across the company.
• Work alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience (YOE).
• Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills, refined aesthetic sensibilities, high-quality craft, and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and problem-solving strategies.

Must-Haves:

• Strong visual refinement and aesthetic sensibility.
• Experience in product and UX design.
• Product strategy experience.
• Prototyping skills are a plus.
