Job Description

• Develop and customize all technical aspects of UiPath systems.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into business needs.
• Ensure and monitor the UiPath bot is stable and manage platform upgrades.
• Mentor FTE staff and assist in developing best practices around RPA.
• Create small bots for incremental process improvements.
• Support DES DTS - OSM UiPath projects and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Review source code and provide clarifications to other developers.
• Develop technical specifications, designs, and architecture artifacts.

Requirements

Must Have :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Certification : UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD).

Minimum of 8+ years of total programming experience.

At least 3 years of hands-on UiPath / RPA development experience.

Proven ability to design and implement RPA automation solutions using UiPath Studio and the REFramework.

Experience with advanced automation tools like OCR, IDP, and AI / ML integration.

Technical Skills :

Familiarity with integrating APIs (REST & SOAP services) in UiPath workflows.

Experience with debugging and performing code analysis.

Ability to develop technical specifications, designs, and architecture artifacts.

Soft Skills :

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Clearances :

Willingness to undergo a 7-year HireRight background check.

Nice to Have :

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI / CD pipelines.

Experience with mainframe applications, terminal emulator clients, and platforms like OnBase Unity Client.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean principles.

Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes.

Prior experience mentoring and educating junior developers or creating best practices for RPA.

Knowledge of tools within the Microsoft Office and Google Suite ecosystems.

Experience with Department of Economic Security (DES) or other public sector organizations.

Additional Information :

Team Collaboration : The role involves working closely with the internal UiPath product management team, vendor teams, and existing development staff. Collaboration with functional leaders and subject matter experts will also be crucial.

Work Environment : This role supports the Department of Economic Security (DES) DTS - OSM team, specifically focusing on UiPath projects from A to Z. The role will include participation in Agile ceremonies and providing input during code reviews and deliverable development.

Scope of Work : In addition to RPA development, the candidate will ensure UiPath bots are stable, handle platform upgrades, implement minor functionality changes, and develop best practices for RPA development. There may also be opportunities to create small bots for incremental process improvements.

Mentorship : The candidate will assist in mentoring FTE staff and advancing the organizations RPA knowledge base.

Clearance Requirements : A Level-1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and passing a thorough background check are mandatory for this position.
