Trust and Safety Associate (Contract)

Position Overview

Our client, a leading-edge AI platform company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust and Safety Associate to join their team. This role is critical to maintaining platform integrity and user safety by ensuring operational efficiency, policy compliance, and effective workflow management. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in trust and safety, content moderation, or compliance operations, and will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze flagged written, visual, and voice content for compliance with moderation standards
  • Remove inappropriate or offensive material in accordance with company policies
  • Respond to user inquiries related to safety, support, and privacy issues
  • Provide feedback on policy development and contribute to workflow enhancements
  • Identify and escalate emerging issues and trends
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, and Community teams on safety initiatives
  • Conduct monthly shop safety inspections and submit results to the EHS team
  • Maintain situational awareness of platform safety and user experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in trust and safety, content moderation, privacy, or compliance operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure
  • Familiarity with online safety issues including child safety, hate speech, and harassment
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work a shift schedule that includes weekends
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages is a plus
