Work Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years as Surgical Technologist or First Assist in an acute-care OR Experience or comfort with CVOR procedures is a plus Education:
High school diploma/GED required; completion of an accredited first assist program preferred (AST or ABSA) License:
CSFA credential via NBSTSA (or CSA/SA‑C acceptable)
CST certification typically required
Certifications:
BLS (CPR) and NRP-MHC (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Maternal Health Care)
BLS required (e.g. AHA) within 30 days of hire
ACLS preferred.
