Your mission:

The Springs Resort & Spa is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff. In this role, you will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents and emergencies. As the first line of defense in ensuring the safety of everyone at the resort, you will help create a peaceful atmosphere while adhering to all security protocols. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and have a passion for safety, we'd love for you to join our team.

Where you can make an impact:

• Patrol resort grounds, buildings, and public areas to maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems for any unusual activity or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency calls, ensuring guest and staff safety.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, and thefts, providing detailed reports and documentation.
• Assist in escorting guests or staff when needed and ensure restricted areas are secure.
• Enforce resort policies and procedures, addressing any violations in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and security systems to ensure they are properly functioning.
• Provide assistance to guests and staff as needed, including during evacuations or medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve security issues and promote a safe environment.
• Report suspicious activities to management and follow protocols for involving local law enforcement when necessary.

What Sets You Apart:

Education/Formal Training :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; security training or certification is a plus.

Experience :

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills :

• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm and act quickly during emergencies.
• Knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and law enforcement.
• Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
