Job Description

LHH is working with a client in Philadelphia, Pa that is in need of a Textile designer/pattern maker. you will support production through creation of pattern markers, labels, and related design items. Skills needed: Strong understanding of pattern making, grading and ability to problem solve around print limitations. Execute specific design development projects as assigned by the designer. Make markers via pattern making software and print for daily production.

• Understand, create and update the Technical Data Packages with fit comments.
• Process orders and understand the design specifications and details.
• Make sample design prototypes as required.
• Improve marking making process - identifying efficiencies in both time required and fabric usage.
• Understand and contribute to technical specification documentation.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a design-related field and two - three years of relevant professional textile fabrication or design experience; or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Experience with applied use of pattern making software Accumark Gerber.
