Responsibilities:

• Joins, fabricates and repairs stainless steel metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
• Precision Stainless Steel MIG/TIG Stainless Steel pipe and plate .060 to 1.00 inch
• Excellent welding heat control
• Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Competencies & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area/school
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable welding in 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G AND 6G positions
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, until AC is installed later this year.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Displays a positive attitude
• Must have excellent, verifiable attendance history
