Job Summary:
Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will assist with all aspects of Environmental compliance and sustainability for the Oakdale, CA facility. You will partner with plant team members to ensure operations are in compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations including permits and corporate policies. You will collaborate with other plant functions to address issues on all projects to ensure that impacts on the environment are minimized and sustainability initiatives are implemented.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with manufacturing facilities on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, Conagra policies and Environmental Management System to mitigate risks while working with Operations, Planning, Legal, Engineering and EHS Corporate..
  • Help the Corporate EHS team develop training to ensure employees at our manufacturing sites understand our environmental programs, procedures, work practices and ensure that controls are implemented to meet applicable regulations.
  • Help with sustainable development activities at the facilities, including partnering with internal peers to develop annual plans to deliver GHG and water usage reductions and waste minimization activities.
  • Assist the Corporate EHS Team with conducting environmental assessments and assist sites with the development of action plans to address any deficiencies identified.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field with 5+ years of experience or Associate’s Degree with 7+ years of experience
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training to adult learners
  • Competency in using Microsoft office and other computer software
  • Experience with agricultural land application of wastewater and solids

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
