Purpose of Role

We are searching for a Sr. Designer to focus on and elevate Apparel for UA Womens Sportswear & Collabs. The Sr. Designer will obsess the UA Womens consumer, and bringing design, function, and style to life. This is an opportunity to be part of a great focus for the brand.

Your Impact

• Design and manage multiple product platforms that connect to the UA Brand DNA, sasonal concept, category direction, as well as integration of product & global merchandising input.
• Work within an integrated team of design, development, and product line management; act as key point of contact for Sr. Design Director and ensure key tactical deliverables are on task.
• Make key decisions related to product and procedure
• Own creation and presentation of category content via direction from Sr. Design Director (merch pages, decks, mood boards, trim and fabric boards)
• Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, technical packages and BOMs
• Lead creation and milestone deliverables
• Partner directly with product and merch leads to deliver appropriate assortment.
• Present as design lead at milestone meetings; design check points, style design review, color review

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Passion every day to design compelling and cutting-edge product.
• Strong design & creative research skills
• Solid understanding of construction and materials; preferably well versed in manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to express concepts and ideas through sketching.
• Strong presentation skills and comfortable working with a group.
• Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks and to successfully meet multiple deadlines

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our New York City office.
• Work Schedule: 4x days per week in office. 
• Travel: Domestic and international travel.

Relocation

• Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount

Base Compensation

$112,417.53 - $154,574.10 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
