We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Analyst, Strategic Sourcing to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and driving category strategy development and execution. This role will require a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. In this role you will help internal stakeholders to devise a strategic approach to category management and initiate and analyze requests for proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the supplier relationship. You will identify opportunities to apply sourcing methods and work closely with internal clients to execute on those opportunities to drive value to the organization. In addition, you may be responsible for process reengineering, compliance management, value capture, and supplier relationship management to support comprehensive category management. When necessary, you will establish a supplier relationship management process with continuous improvement goals/programs. You will monitor market dynamics and communicate changes that affect internal client needs. Your Contributions include developing and executing strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories, conducting market research, managing supplier relationships including contract negotiations and performance management, analyzing data to inform sourcing decisions, developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, staying up-to-date with industry trends, managing the RFP process, tracking supplier performance, identifying duplicated purchases for bulk purchasing power, ensuring compliance with regulations, quantifying and tracking value creation, and possibly working in specialized purchasing areas. Requirements include a BA degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in procurement preferably in life sciences, experience with ERP systems, strong communication and organizational skills, experience with category strategies and supplier relationship management, proficiency with Coupa, Smartsheet, Power BI, MS Office Suite, negotiation skills, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or process improvements, and experience with contract management systems.
