Contract Position with Soliant Education
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team in the East Hampton, CT area for the full 2025-2026 school year. This is an onsite position with a heavy behavioral caseload, offering consistent weekly hours and strong benefits. Position Details:
Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
2025-2026 school year (25/26)

Heavy behavioral caseload
Hourly pay range: $37 - $45/hour
Weekly pay

Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and support for students with special needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Manage challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Active Connecticut Special Education Certification
Current CPR training
PMT (Physical and Psychological Management Training) preferred, but not required
Experience with behavioral caseloads strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
