Have you ever dreamt of building your own Solar Sales function? Our client, an ambitious and rapidly growing Solar Developer with NABCEP Certification, are looking for someone to grab the bull by the horns and create something special.

In the role of Solar Sales Manager, your remit is to generate new business for Rooftop Solar deployment across the great city of Chicago, establish yourself as the go-to for Solar solutions, and build a team of appointment setters to create your own lead-generation machine.

This position, as a rarity for most solar sales positions in this sector, comes with a base salary, 401k, Healthcare and a Company Vehicle.

And it wouldn't be a sales role without a healthy, uncapped commission scheme with first year earnings expected to exceed $100k.

What you will be doing...

• Develop and execute strategies to drive business in the Chicago area, a completely untapped reserve of potential business for the company.
• Use a variety of communication channels to build a pipeline of projects for the company.
• Hire, train and develop your own lead-generation team to maximise your own profitable output as a closer within the organization.
• Assist with deal-closing on a company-wide scale where required, maximizing personal earning potential.

What you bring to the table...

• A track record of success in direct sales, focusing on D2D and Multi-Channel outreach campaigns.
• Experience in the solar or renewables industries are a benefit, but not a necessity.
• The ability to quickly build strong relationships with potential customers, and to reliably close business.
• A can do attitude, effervescent personality and the track record to match.
