We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities As a Senior Web Front-End Engineer, you will: Develop, enhance, and maintain a high-performance web application built primarily with React, focusing on complex front-end challenges related to global monetary transactions. Collaborate closely with other engineers, QA teams, and release managers to ensure high-quality software delivery and smooth release cycles. Contribute to the full stack by leveraging your understanding of backend technologies, particularly Node.js and Express, to support front-end functionality and integration. Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure robust, maintainable, and bug-free code. Utilize Apollo GraphQL and related tools to manage data fetching and state management effectively within the application. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development, testing, and debugging. Work within an agile environment, using tools such as Jira for task management and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment support. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code is essential for building scalable front-end applications. React: Deep experience with React, including hooks, context API, component lifecycle, and state management. Ability to architect complex UI components and optimize rendering performance. Node.js: Strong knowledge of Node.js for backend development, enabling you to contribute to server-side logic and API integration that supports front-end features. Express: Proficiency with Express.js framework to build and maintain RESTful APIs and middleware that interact seamlessly with the front-end. Jest: Expertise in Jest testing framework to write unit and integration tests, ensuring code reliability and preventing regressions. React Testing Library: Experience using React Testing Library to test React components in a way that simulates user interactions and verifies UI behavior. Apollo GraphQL: Familiarity with Apollo Client and GraphQL to efficiently query and manage data within the React application, optimizing network usage and improving user experience. Debugging: Strong debugging skills to identify and fix issues in complex front-end applications, including performance bottlenecks and UI glitches. Nice-to-Have Skills GraphQL: Broader understanding of GraphQL beyond Apollo Client, including schema design and server-side implementation, to enhance collaboration with backend teams. Cypress: Experience with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing frameworks to automate UI testing and improve test coverage. Jenkins: Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment pipelines, enabling smoother release processes and automated testing. Jira: Proficient use of Jira for agile project management, issue tracking, and sprint planning to maintain organized and efficient workflows. CSS: Strong CSS skills, including preprocessors like SASS or LESS, to create responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces.
