Senior Property Accountant

JLL is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to support one General Manager, working onsite with property team. Ready to join our growing team?

Responsibilities

  • Process month end accruals.
  • Prepare capital funding request packages.
  • Prepare monthly capital tracking spreadsheet.
  • Perform set up of new vendors, collecting documents required and obtaining vendor number.
  • Perform invoice coding at least two times weekly, ensure proper audit trail is in place.
  • Monitor collection of rents and review reports.
  • Review leases and leasing activity to ensure accurate billing.
  • Compile key assumptions and capital budget information, maintain lease level budgeting for all tenants, review and enter budget information into the accounting system, process estimates and associated tenant billing letters for impounds.
  • Prepare quarterly forecast and provide support to the client in gathering information for the quarterly financial reports.
  • Annual year-end reconciliation process – CAM, percentage rent, insurance utilities, sewer/trash, real estate taxes.
  • Assist in all audits at the property.

Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. - Accounting
  • 10+ years real estate accounting experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge, Excel, AVID, and YARDI real estate accounting software strongly preferred. Would like Kardin budget software experience if possible.
