As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or the public in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related standards.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
