Job Description:

\n\n

\n\t
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with life skills needs.\n\t
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.\n\t
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.\n\t
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to promote student engagement and success.\n\t
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.\n\t
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.\n

Education and Certification Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.\n\t
• Pennsylvania state certification in Special Education.\n\t
• Endorsement or certification in Life Skills Support preferred.\n\t
• Previous experience working with students with life skills needs is highly desirable.\n\t
• Strong communication and organizational skills.\n
