Premier manufacturing company with a focus on personal care products. They are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist that will assist in all necessary regulatory assignments. Client Details Our client is a high quality creator of personal care products with an great facility and resources. They have offices throughout the country and continue to succeed in the personal care market. Description Ensure all products comply with relevant national and international regulations, including FDA, EU Cosmetic Regulation, and other governing bodies. Review product formulations, labels, and claims to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including product information files (PIFs), safety data sheets (SDS), and ingredient declarations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for regulatory inspections and audits. Provide guidance to product development teams on regulatory requirements during the formulation and design phases. Assess the regulatory impact of new ingredients and technologies. Monitor changes in global regulations for personal care products and communicate updates to relevant teams. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on regulatory compliance and best practices. Partner with marketing, R&D, and quality assurance teams to ensure product claims are substantiated and align with regulatory standards. Serve as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits. Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the personal care or cosmetics industry. Familiarity with regulations such as FDA (U.S.), GMP, OTC, SDSs, EU regulations, and ISO standards. Understanding of cosmetic labeling requirements and ingredient restrictions. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
