Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Receptionist for immediate hire for our client, an incredible nonprofit foundation focused on uplifting and supporting the Jewish Community. This is a full-time, contract role working onsite at their office in Los Angeles, CA.

SCHEDULE
March 6th â?? April 2nd (covering while the Receptionist is out of the office)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets clients, visitors, and guests upon arrival, determines the purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to the appropriate area.
• Answers, screens, and forwards phone calls to staff members; takes messages and schedules appointments as needed.
• Receives, sorts, and distributes mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries.
• Ensures the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and brochures.
• Maintains office security by following safety protocols and controlling access through the reception desk.
• Keeps all office spaces tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials and supplies.
• Assists in the facilitation of office events, manages meeting spaces, and coordinates in-person or virtual meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, front desk, or a similar role, directly engaging with clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven organizational and planning skills, with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a high-intensity work setting.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $21-23/hr (DOE).
