Job Description

As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, clients, and staff. You'll manage front-desk responsibilities, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and support various areas with clerical tasks. The Receptionist is expected to have the switchboard open and operating promptly at 8:00 a.m. and throughout the day until 5:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Professionally administers all incoming calls
• Ensures phone calls are redirected accordingly
• Greets guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
• Provides guests a visitors' badge upon arrival, assures they sign the guest book, and retrieves badge before visitor leaves
• Opens and closes visitor area (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights)
• Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
• Miscellaneous projects for other departments, as approved by Office Manager and Office Administrative Assistant
  Other Duties and Responsibilities
• Relief switchboard coverage will be provided for a one-hour lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaks of 10 minutes each and/or as needed. The Receptionist will work with relief coverage to determine appropriate times for lunch and breaks.
• Performs a variety of other clerical duties
• Assists staff in preparing shipments and shipping labels, as necessary
• Scans documents for other departments, as requested
• Restocks peanuts in lobby, uncover in morning and cover in evenings
• Scans and distributes franchisee donations requests
• Assists with finalizing monthly birthday list

Education/Experience:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Minimum 1 year customer service experience

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook and other appropriate software. Five Guys
