Job Description
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Property Accountant for our client in Matthews, NC. This will be a 100% onsite M-F position with the possibility of conversion to permanent. The Property Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of several commercial properties, need to possess strong attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the financial aspects of 15 properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient account management
• Perform month-end close procedures, including bank account reconciliations
• Conduct auditing procedures to verify financial information
• Utilize Acumatica software for property accounting tasks
• Code financial transactions accurately for record-keeping purposes
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
• Support property accounting processes with other accounting functions such as accrual accounting.
