Are you ready to lead and innovate in a dynamic production environment? MedAire/MedSupply is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee and coordinate daily activities within our Phoenix production facility. Overall, Purpose of The Job: As a Production Manager, you will ensure that both new and refurbished kits are fabricated efficiently, on time, and within budget, while meeting quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing resources, including production associates and equipment, while collaborating with senior management to monitor production output and costs. Continuous process improvement and compliance with established standards and regulations are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet targets and deadlines. Monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve issues to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, train, and manage the production team. Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and support. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Training and Development: Work with the Senior Operations Manager to develop and implement training programs. Partner with Quality and HR to ensure staff complete required training.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with management, quality control, IT, logistics, and the production team to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
  • Cost Control: Assist with managing production costs through workflow and schedule optimization.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and protocols. Implement and monitor quality initiatives to meet safety requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in production processes, efficiency, and resource utilization. Resolve production problems and document issues and resolutions.

Job Profile:

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Leadership and management skills, production knowledge, problem-solving skills, effective communication, organizational skills, flexibility, and physical requirements.

Required Work Experience:

  • Intermediate competency with computer skills and software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, MRP/ERP).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a progressive manufacturing environment or similar warehouse operation.

Required Languages:

  • English

Travel / Rotation Requirements:

Able to work assigned shifts/schedule (including some major holidays). Valid State of Arizona Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one; proof of adequate auto insurance coverage required.
