Locum Tenens Hospitalist Opportunity Near Wausau, WI

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist for a locum tenens position near Wausau, WI. This role is available from December 31, 2024, to January 6, 2025, and offers a great opportunity to provide quality care in an inpatient setting.

• Work with a 22-bed department, focusing on delivering high-quality inpatient care.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Eligible (No specific board certification required)
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• State License: Must be licensed in Wisconsin or have IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) eligibility.
• Experience: Experience in inpatient hospitalist care preferred.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 90 days

Additional Information:

• The facility operates with Epic as its EMR system, so familiarity with this system is advantageous.
• The role does not require hospital or surgery center privileges, and there is no need for temporary privileges.
• The hospital is not stroke-certified, so no specialized stroke care is required.
