Job Details We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Security Specialist to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida, and contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch security services.
Position Overview: As a Physical Security Specialist you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' facilities, assets, and personnel. You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and maintaining physical security measures to mitigate risks and ensure a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of client facilities.
- Develop and implement physical security plans, policies, and procedures.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
- Monitor security systems for anomalies, breaches, and incidents.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response agencies as necessary.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for staff and clients.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Perform regular security audits and recommend improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging security technologies.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in physical security, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Familiarity with security standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications and security software.
