Job Description
Five full time staff members needed for expanding recovery residence working with clients in early substance use disorder and mental health recovery.
Duties would include performing morning rounds/curfew checks, facilitating groups, administering drug screens, documenting resident's progress, assisting the residents in maintaining a clean, safe environment and providing accountability as they connect with local recovery services. Strong collaboration skills are desired as staff keep in regular contact with therapists, psychiatrists and parole officers. Staff will also attend weekly staff meetings to discuss interventions and planning for each resident and the community as a whole.
We are looking for emotionally intelligent, compassionate people who feel called to work in this field and who can guide our residents through the sometimes bumpy beginnings of early recovery.
Company DescriptionHope Homes provides NARR Level 2 and Level 3 recovery residences and recovery support services to individuals in recovery from addictive, emotional and eating disorders. We serve adult men and women, 18 years and above, who live in appropriately separate communities. Our primary purpose is to support our residents in establishing and practicing a recovery-oriented lifestyle.
We are more than sober living or a “half-way” house. The residential component of the Hope Homes program is important – we provide our residents with safe, comfortable home environments and a supportive, recovery-focused peer group. However, the aspect of the Hope Homes program that differentiates us from many sober living homes is our professional life-skill counselors and the many support services they provide to our residents. Counselors live on-site and are available to residents 24 hours a day. They provide one-on-one sessions, 12 Step meeting support, in-house support groups, life skill development, employment/education guidance, dual diagnosis support, fellowship activities, and family support. Counselors collaborate with each resident’s recovery support system, including referring treatment centers and continuing care service providers. Our counselors also conduct frequent, random drug screening to ensure the safety of our communities. At Hope Homes, our focus is not only on helping our residents maintain and strengthen their recovery, but also on becoming productive members of a community. Our graduates leave Hope Homes with a strong foundation in the outside recovery community and a solid understanding of the skills that are necessary to live a productive life in recovery.Hope Homes provides NARR Level 2 and Level 3 recovery residences and recovery support services to individuals in recovery from addictive, emotional and eating disorders.
