Job Description

Position Summary:
Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to guests, promoting relaxation, pain relief and over wellness. Continually access guests' needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and maintain a high standard of service to ensure a positive a guest experience as defined by department standards.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Provide exceptional Guest service at all times, including while assisting in locker room and surrounding areas.
4. Perform massage and body treatments according to department standards.
5. Must have and maintain knowledge of Massage products and services and actively engage in
promoting and selling them.
6. Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms.
7. Communicate service steps to Guests while executing all services and treatments.
8. Ensure information provided regarding treatment type is accurate
9. Must complete all necessary training courses as specified by management.
10. Complete all necessary opening and closing duties per department processes.
11. Responsible for restocking all spa products in treatment rooms.
12. Responsible for stocking all treatments with required lines to perform services.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must possess or obtain California Massage Therapy Counsil (CAMTC) Certification
3. Minimum 2 years of massage experience. Resort Spa environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to stand for duration of shift, up to 7 hours.
2. Must be able to provide massage and body treatment services for duration of shift, up to 7 hours.
3. Ability to sit, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crawl intermittently, as necessary for the execution of a treatment when required.
4. Must have manual dexterity to operate job related equipment for full duration of shift.
5. Must be able to Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 pounds intermittently, for duration of shift.
