Part-Time Evening & Weekend Nanny Needed for 5-Year-Old – Long-Term Opportunity

A warm and welcoming family in Michigan is seeking a reliable and energetic part-time nanny to care for their 5-year-old child during evenings and weekends. The child is high-functioning with some social interaction challenges and thrives with patient, engaging support. This position is ideal for a caregiver who is passionate about child development and looking to build a long-term relationship with a family.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
• 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Start Date: ASAP (priority is finding the right fit)

Compensation: $25–$28 per hour (higher for the right candidate)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with the child in a safe, structured environment
• Encourage outdoor play and creative activities
• Provide support with homework and evening routines
• Potential to assist with extracurriculars such as swim or karate as role expands
• Collaborate closely with the family to ensure consistent care
• No cooking or bathing responsibilities required

Ideal Candidate:

• Energetic, patient, and trustworthy
• Experience with children who have social or developmental needs is preferred
• Strong communicator who values consistency and long-term connection
• Comfortable working in a home undergoing transition (the family is downsizing from a larger home)
• Able to provide 3-5 professional references
• Must have U.S. work authorization
