About The Role:
As an Order Shopper, your role is to assist the e-commerce team by collecting and packaging items for customer orders. You'll ensure that orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for delivery or pickup.
What You Will Do
- Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency (picking + scanning + packing).
- Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) devices to fulfill orders.
- Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations
- Willingness to work in other areas of the e-commerce department as required, e.g., customer service, cashier, food orders runner.
- Follow all departmental and company procedures, practices, and policies.
- Perform all other tasks as duties as assigned and/or per business need.
About You:
- 1 + years of experience as an In-Store Shopper or Picker.
- Prior grocery, culinary, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, paying attention to product and order accuracy.
- Ability to keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
- Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Compensation range: $18.00 - $20.00
