We are seeking a self-motivated individual to manage the operations of our Upper Marlboro . The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, able to clearly and concisely follow procedures and able to manage simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day logistics of the branch.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Oversee Branch Inventory and Fleet of Vehicles

· Develop the structure of the Branch and oversee the Hiring and Development of employees

· Manage an assistant, staff of drivers/technicians, as well as in-house technicians

· Manage the flow of paperwork and day to day tasks within the Operation

· Ensure proper inventory levels at all times for client jobs and standard stock

· Ensure the successful delivery of all shipments via company trucks, freight and parcel shipping companies

· Implementation and ongoing adherence to company SOP

· Make sure all equipment is quality controlled to the highest standard; ensure that all deliveries and pick-ups are completed in a timely fashion; and coordinate equipment logistics with our other warehouses. Make sure all fleet and facility management is being completed.

Primary skills:

 

· 5 years of Audio-Visual experience

· DOT hours of service knowledge a plus

· Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Inventory Software

· Strong management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
