**Night Auditor (Hotel)**

**Location: Miami, FL**

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Night Auditor at our vibrant hotel located near Miami International Airport. This is a full-time, on-site role, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our friendly team.

As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. You will be responsible for auditing, posting, and balancing daily financial transactions, all while contributing to our commitment to exceptional guest service and financial success. Your keen eye for detail will help us maintain accurate financial records and prepare insightful reports that support our operational goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct thorough reviews of financial data, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenditures.
- Analyze computer-generated reports to ensure compliance with accepted accounting procedures.
- Perform cash counts and inspect financial documents, including notes receivable and payable.
- Verify journal and ledger entries related to cash and check payments, purchases, and expenses.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management that outline audit findings and financial conditions.
- Offer recommendations for improving operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Establish guidelines to detect and prevent fraud.
- Review payroll and personnel records to ensure compliance with worker's compensation coverage.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Previous experience in a Hilton-branded hotel and night audit roles is required.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with Delphi and/or OnQ systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

**Education and Experience:**

- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (1-2 years) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and technical journals.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in accounting software, database management, spreadsheet applications, and word processing.

**Physical Demands:**

- This position requires regular sitting, using hands for tasks, and occasional standing.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
